Enum Bit
pub enum Bit {
Part(usize),
Fixed(u8),
DontCare,
}
Expand description
The purpose of a bit in an encoding.
Variants§
Part(usize)
A bit that belongs to a part.
Fixed(u8)
A fixed bit.
Can either be Fixed(0)
or Fixed(1)
.
Other values should not be used.
DontCare
A “DontCare” bit. Can be either 0 or 1. Does not have an effect on the behavior of the instruction.
Implementations§
§impl Bit
impl Bit
pub fn unwrap_fixed(&self) -> u8
pub fn unwrap_fixed(&self) -> u8
Returns n
in Bit::Fixed(n)
.
Panics if the bit is not Bit::Fixed
.
pub fn part_index(&self) -> Option<usize>
pub fn part_index(&self) -> Option<usize>
Returns Some(n)
if bit is Bit::Part(n)
.
Otherwise, returns None
.
